I have had my Maytag 30" cooktop for a month and have really put it to a test. I am a farm wife who cooks from scratch every day and at this time of year I am canning every day. The power burner was great for heating up canner of water and actually canning the produce. Much faster than the Electrolux cooktop I previously owned

The appliance seems to work fine, but the problem was, I had to order 4 brand new cooktops before one arrived undamaged. They all were boxed and protected, but had scratches and dings in them, brand new! Also when you order parts for stainless appliances, they arrive scratched and damaged as well. Beware, it will take hours/days/weeks to the problem resolved! I was without a cooktop for over two months after we remodeled our kitchen. Very sad the Quality control is nonexistent at Whirlpool!

This cook top has more features then my more expensive one that it replaced. I love the 4 separate burner BTU's and that the large burners are in back and the smaller ones in front. It is also much easier to clean.

So far I am very happy with my new stove top, other than the fact that a metal like label was placed right in the front "10 yr warranty" , it would not come off with my fingernail so had to pry it off with a butter knife very carefully but still scratched the stainless steel. What a stupid place to put a label & why wasnt it a paper/sticky label that could be removed easily. I am very careful with this appliance but seems to scratch very easy, hopefully it wont look bad in a yr or so. had my last one for 18 yrs, dont plan on buying one a year.

We ordered this stove top a couple months ago and had to wait what seemed like forever to get it (about 5 weeks). I was starting to regret ordering it. However, it was worth the wait! I love the grates that cover the entire stove top so I never have to worry about the burner grates shifting when I move a pan. The burner with the simmer feature is great. The stove works great and is easy to clean. It looks nice too. I have no complaints.
