I bought this a few weeks ago refrigerator is great but ice maker makes such small ice cubes it is disappointing and while trying to get ice you bump the water thing and it is not tall enough for a insulated cup.

Four out of the four appliances in our kitchen are Whirlpool and I am highly satisfied the other three. I could not be more dissatisfied and angry with this refrigerator. One of the primary reasons a new refrigerator was purchased was because the current Frigidaire one did not have a deli drawer. The white color also did not match the other Whirlpool Stainless steel appliances.
However, a primary reason still remains I wanted a deli drawer that I was accustomed to having as well as a functional ice and water dispenser.
After installation was completed there was not a deli drawer. Although the exact one we looked at in Lowes had the deli drawer. Lowe's instructed me to contact Whirlpool. Contacted Whirlpool and was sent a crisper drawer.
The water dispenser is poorly designed and awkward to fill a simple water bottle and a common size glass cannot be placed there comfortably. The ice dispenser is annoying as it is impossible to dispense ice without hitting water dispenser.
I wholeheartedly regret this purchase moreover, I wish I could take this back to Lowes and buy a more functional refrigerator. If budgeting dictated we could afford another new refrigerator I would do so in a heartbeat.
I have wholeheartedly and truthfully tried hard to behave maturely and see this as a material item that should not provoke a reaction out of me not and try to be contented. However, I end up hating it more.
In my 15years of marriage and three moves, this by far is the WORST refrigerator we have owned. Oh how I hate this thing, it so frustrating to deal with.

This is the first time I have had a side-by-side and I really like it! The only thing I have had a problem with is the water dispenser, when I get ice it is easy to hit it, thus water everywhere. Guess just need to be more aware. I love the large ice maker and having the freezer easy to see everything at a glance!

My wife and I bought this Whirlpool refrigerator and are very pleased with it. Quite and the water dispenser handles larger glasses than our last refrigerator and the ice maker is quick to replace ice.

compared to my 13 yr old 36-inch Kenmore side-by-side, it runs more frequently and is louder. Nothing new or exciting about any features this one has. Water comes out slower from the dispenser. Faster to just go to the faucet

I've had my new refrigerator about 2 1/2 weeks now and I love it. the space in the door is amazing and the water/ice dispenser is so easy to clean. no parts come out so nothing gets in there. I had my first batch of ice in less than 4 hours. I dumped it out as told due to manufacturing chemicals. I was told it would be 24 hours to get clean ice. I dumped the first few batches and I was using ice that same evening.

This is the upgraded version to the fridge I formerly had. It is minus a shelf in the interior on both the freezer and fridge side. However, some updated design features make it more useable for larger items.
The fridge was very cost effective and I was pleased with it's overall look, functionality and interior.
The only drawback is that I ordered this from Lowes in May 2018. The first unit did not arrive until August 6th 2018 and then the freezer door was collecting ice. It took until December 2018 to get a new freezer door. Then Whirlpool customer service replaced the entire unit which did not get delivered until January 2019.

I bought this fridge as a replacement for the 26.4 cu.ft whirlpool fridge I had for 17 years (the compressor died). This fridge is a newer version of the other model I had. They redesigned a few of the shelves to allow for more space in the fridge and freezer. The doors are a much sleeker design. The capacity, although it says 25cu.ft., is actually quite large. They resdesigned it to fit boxes and jugs better. I like the new shelving features and for a side by side, this has a lot of capacity. The freezer is minus a shelf from the older model so that reduces the capacity a bit. If you are looking for a lot of bells and whistles, this is not your fridge. If you want something that is affordable, has good capacity and is a quality refridgerator then this is something to consider. The fridge was on sale and I purchased it at Lowes and got an additional discount so it was around $900.
The only drawback was:
Whirlpool makes these fridges in Michigan. I ordered it on 6/16/18 from Lowes and unfortunately it didn't arrive until 8/6/18. So that was beyond inconvenient to be without a fridge most of the summer. Lowes didn't mention i could have requested a loaner fridge(although that is a separate review). In addition, the freezer door and gasket had a slight faulty seal so ice was collecting on the door. Since it was under warranty the reparimen did identify the issue and a repair is in process to date . The doors are made at the time of order and can take an additional 4-6weeks for delivery and install. That is my only drawback to this fridge. Apparently doors are a common repair item when shipped and installed so it would be great if Whirlpool could correct this distriburtion issue.
Otherwise, this fridge is solid and I expect it to last another 15-17 years as the other one did.
