Purchased this ice maker for our home and it supplies perfect ice in spades, even for humid Alabama summers-and now we can get a Whirlpool refrigerator with more fridge space too, since we don't need the ice maker in it!

The first ice maker delivered was defective, there was a hole in the water line. The second appliance works very well! It's quiet and efficient, just what you want in an ice maker.

This is the 4th or 5th icemaker like this that I have purchased over the past 20 years. Great CLEAR ice in small cubes that are perfect for drinks or ice chest. They are expensive and they require regular cleaning to keep them working but it seems that is just the price you pay for great ice.

We bought 3 months ago and is broken already . I even put clean cycle it is a home bar set up and really not used as much as most. Very disappointed I had to pay distributor 75.00 to repair. I just bought it from them 3 months ago.

Very happy with our new Whirlpool ice maker. I like the side opening door. Our last one (GE) dropped down, then you had to lean over it to get the ice. The Whirlpool is also much quieter.

This is our 3rd ice maker in 15 years, with repairs in between. I don't think they are built to last in the size and price point. But we love having so much ice on hand. BBQs, coolers, boating - we could never keep up with demand in a refrigerator ice maker.

Makes clear ice, beautifully, and quickly. It replaced one that was about 10 years old, and is substantially better in that the buttons are now instantaneous, whereas you had to press and hold the old buttons (why? who knows...). I have only used it for a few days, but am happy as a clam with it!

I moved into this house 30 years ago and this is my 3rd machine from this same line of Whirlpool icemakers. The first lasted 16 years and the second lasted 14 years and I'm expecting similar great service out of this one. We love the small, clear ice cubes! I've already gotten a relative to buy a Kictchen Aid machine from Whirlpool after having been at my house.
